In The Shadows is a truly inspirational story about the life of Ramla Ali, a Somali refugee who, without her family’s knowledge, became the first female Muslim boxer to become a British champion and win a national title.

BAFTA winning Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy, Bird) will be playing Ramla Ali alongside Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders, Last Breath) who will play her husband Richard Moore. The film will be directed by Oscar-nominated Anthony Wonke (Dettori, Ronaldo, Being AP) and written by Ursula Rani Sarma.
